New Regulations to affect rental properties
The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) gives owners, tenants and buyers information on the energy efficiency of their property and is valid for 10 years and must be made available to any prospective tenants free of charge.
It is anticipated that there will be a high demand for EPC's in the run up to the October 1st deadline and landlords are being urged to ensure EPC's are produced sooner rather than later to avoid delays in getting the property rented.
